HI i'm finally back from inspire faith camp. just had a few hours' of sleep just now. well... i think i expected too much from this camp. which is also why i thought that last year's inspire stronger camp was better. but nevertheless, i enjoyed myself very much during the camp.



on our way to PLMGS (primary) and we were still feeling very excited and tired.

day 1:
- we reached there at around 6, which is dinner time
- val ang brought us to the bunks to put our bags down before going down for dinner
- first session: weiren shared about the values of the youths of the next generation
- after session, had a bible trivia search
- our cg didnt help much, we ended up playing 'yang zhou chao fan' while the rest were thinking
- after the bible trivia thing, it was already after 12am, and it was suzy's birthday!
- our cg and a few W514 girls went to sing happy birthday song for suzy
- cel val.y val ang and i went to bath (we kept the toilet clean)
- lights off at 12am
- cel and val ang had to share sleeping in one sleeping bag where as val.y and i each took 4 chairs to make a 'bed' for ourselves
- at 4am, i noticed val.y was still awake and we both had trouble sleeping on chairs
- so we went down to the floor and sleep
- val.y and i ending up sleeping after 4am where as before 3am, val ang and cel were already in their dreams



while we were waiting for slow val ang..

day 2:
- prayer meeting was great
- we had breakfast which was some chocolate muffins (after eating that made the milo tasted weird)
- second session: fun and enjoyable! so channel 5.
- during the session, we played 'the millionaire'. (jasmin very sad, she was the only girl out of all the contestants who had to blow the balloons)
- during the session, we also played 'dont forget the lyrics' and i enjoyed singing along with the other campers.
- Moses served during lunch and for our table, we had no 'customers'. SO FUN.

- after lunch, we played bible trivia crossword puzzle, which we had to run around the school to find slips of papers that will give us the answer to complete the crossword puzzle
- i managed to find one slip of paper and i'm proud of it.
- from 1530 to 1730, we got to bath and prepare for project runway
- before dinner, our cg continued to play yang zhou chao fan
- project runway: mind blowing!
- we were all literally on fire (we were all sweating)
- after the message, during praise, we went forward to sing praise (like we were in a concert)
- the brothers went to carry edwin and pastor zhuang around
- the project runway winners were from Abraham (predictable)
- after the project runway session, our cg headed to the parade square and sat in a circle, and played yang zhou chao fan again
- gideon aka echo king entertained us with all his 'echo' sounds
- johnny came to share jokes with us
- we continued to sit around there till the macdonalds gideon ordered came
- headed to canteen for supper
- we were kind enough to help them finish up their fries
- lights off at 0130am
- (predictable) the CGLs started to wake us up at 0230am for night walk
- night walk was fun
- how funny it is when we were walking around blindly and asking the people around us who they were and started touching their face to feel
- while we were walking blindly, khoonfai came to disturb us with lots of weird things (pinching our noses, using grass to make us itchy on our face) and we could actually recognised him very fast
- bathed
- lights off at 6am

day 3:
- woke up at 0730 (less than 2 hours of sleep)
- prayer meeting was.. i was very sleepy..
- during breakfast, we all continued being sleepy
- while queueing up for the session, somehow the energy came back to us so we were quite alright
- last session: faji shared about the characteristics of a campus revivalist
- enjoyed the praise and worship
- prize presentation: congrats to...
xianghua: the Abraham award (the most obedient camper)

- hugs and kisses as we break camp
- area cleaning and packing
- cabbed home with cel val and leejie
