wow, asia conference was very fun and exciting, but also tiring at the same time. the whole thing like camp like that. i only got 3 or 4 hours to sleep everyday. i think i shall not write too much, i will just briefly blog about the asia conference. :)
wednesday (19/11)
i met shihui in the afternoon and we headed to expo to attend electives. i accompanied shihui to attend "songwriting for praise and worship". then after the workshop, we saw garrick. LOL he attended the same workshop as us but he was up in the front.
garrick: you know my usher friend right. she saw liu geng hong leh. then liu geng hong asked her for directions.
daph,shihui: wah!
garrick: his muscles very big lo. like my thigh like that.
daph,shihui: LOL!
we went to meet with huiwen, yunting, yugene, jerome and two of huiwen's friends and we headed to queue up for session 1. some of our other cg members were behind. so we played murderer while queueing up and..
zhengyang: hey i tell you a secret you cannot say out.
daph: what thing?
zhengyang: shannen come back already.
daph,shihui,yunting: WHERE?
zhengyang: behind there.
daph: very far?
zhengyang: yeah. she dont wanna me to say cos she wanna give you all surprise.
after that, we got totally no mood to play the game even tho we were still playing. we were just holding on to our cards. i was the police but no one was killing. so, i just kept looking outside to see if shannen walked past. suddenly i saw sharon, with SHANNEN. shihui, yunting and i hugged her after that we were hugging each other because shannen was back! shannen even queued up with us.
i kept telling shannen that she look very unreal. because of sudden return, she talk to us, standing in front of us, like we were dreaming! and its actually quite fun to see the people's shocked faces when they saw shannen. after awhile, cg members who were queueing behind came infront to talk to shannen.
session 1: opening night was great. so exciting with all the fireworks flying around. i cant really remember what happened during the session. session1 ended at 1030pm then we hang around for awhile before we headed home. cel, val, ashley and i went to changi to take bus back to yishun. but when we reached yishun, there were no more trains so we took cab.
thursday (20/11)
woke up at 0530am to prepare because i was meeting val and cel at 0630am. i got ready in half an hour. LOL! so, from 6am to 0630am, i was just staring at the blank space untill 0615am i went out. i only need 10 minutes to walk to sembawang mrt but i used the 5 minutes to go and get myself a can of iced coffee to keep myself awake! i only had 3 hours to sleep the last night!
so when i reached sembawang mrt, i waited for val and cel. i felt abit weird cos they were late. so i called them. who knows that there was a wake-up call? they just got up when i called them. so i waited for them at sembawang mrt then they finally came. we wanted to take train to cityhall but it was very packed so we took to jurong east. we saw suijin then in the end, we took suijin's mother car to expo together with jaren, lennard and one of their friends.
session 2 was great. pastor phil pringle prayed for some of the countries like china, indonesia, malaysia an taiwan.
session 3 was great too. pastor ulf ekman preached about getting to know the holy spirit. it was quite short because the session was short.
in the afternoon, cel val shihui yugene jerome yankeng jaren suijin lennard and i went to the staircase below between subway and seven eleven to have cup noodles as our lunch. we played some card games then some of the people went for electives, queue up, ministry.
shihui and i went to serve for children churh's emerge conference. i helped to call the buses while shihui packed the presents. then during their dismissal, we helped to give presents to th walk-in children. we ended around 0645pm when we could nt get in to hall 8 anymore. the ushers die die also didnt want to let us in. so we had to go to hall 10.
session 4 at hall 10 was quite alright. even tho we were like 1 hall apart but the presence of God was still very strong. and i found out something about pastor ulf ekman. he talked very fast. LOL
pastor ulf ekman ended very late. so, we decided to sit suijin's mother car and she drove us all the way back to sembawang. thanks auntie! we reached sembawang like 12am like that and we still got time to take bus home. i called my mother cos she said she wanna come down fetch me but i saw one indian guy keep looking so i got angry then i just faster go up. when i reached home, my mother was already ready to come down! HAHA.
friday (21/11)
again, i met val and cel at sembawang mrt. my mother woke up when i was about to go home.
mother: you want eggs and coffee?
daph: i going out liao. :(
i reached early so i went to buy hashbrowns. we were early this time so the trains were quite empty. so, we took all the way to expo. at lavendar, we alighted because i wanna go to toilet. sudden stomachace. :( i cant eat too much in the morning. i will get stomach pains.
i joined the queue with yunting, yugene, joan, shannen and sharon. val and cel went for usher. yunting and joan were running to find seats. yugene and i walked in because we only needed 7 seats LOL. we kept suaning shannen because she wore shorts. last time she told us cant wear shorts now she wearing. yunting said she wearing bathrobe. LOL!
session 5 by pastor A.R bernard was great. 1 thing about him is that he talked very slow! hah!
session 6 by pastor phil pringle! haha he's good because during his session, i wont fall asleep very easily.
in the afternoon, we had lunch with pastor christine pringle. after the lunch, we were all supposed to go for art of worship leading workshop together but it was already packed when we were about to go. so in the end, val and cel went to usher while shihui and i went to queue up. slowly, joan yunting jaren mingshiun yugene ashley came. shihui was very good to feed me and jaren food when we were playing psp. :)
huiwen kept asking shihui to be more girl. so she helped her to tie girly. but after that jaren said her then she started hitting jaren like never before. so funny! zhengyang then brought leejie come in to hall 8. :) she looked kuazhang cos her bangs were messy.
session 7 was great because its pastor kong speaking! super high! because the praise and worship is by chc band! i love the song "elevate Your name"!

we went home by sharon's car. we managed to squeeze in. :) 10 people inside. sharon drove us to jurong east mrt then we went home by mrt. :)
saturday (22/11)
had to wake up at 0730am because had to serve for "special"musical. i was supposed to meet shihui and johnny at 0915am but they reached around.. 10am. because of JOHNNY TAN HOWE HIANG. morning call him, he said ok he wake up. i call again, he sleeping.
i alighted at cityhall because i wanna buy bread and use toilet. :)
we trained to expo mrt. then from there, we reported to our I/Cs then we served untill 3pm then we went to queue up already. ok, enough of talk and see pictures. :)

sharon drove us to jurong east as usual. 16 people squeezed in the car. then yokelin cel val and i trained back. my mother came to mrt to fetch me then we went to buy macs then went home. :)
sunday (23/11)
woke up at 5am. super early! i called them when i was on my way out then they just woke up. so i stoned at the bus stop for awhile. i met val only in the end because cel stomachache. we met shihui at jurong east mrt then headed to expo.
session 9: ordination service. woo! went to support pastor zhuang. we got whistles for ourselves. cel and jaren came after that.
in the afternoon, we went to changi for our lunch. johnny is so gross!!! he rub my pooh bear with his nose and bit my phone strap. -.- anyway, say goodbye to my poohbear! i threw it away. and my face was super hot and red after service. the girls (cel val leejie shihui me) went to popeyes.

we went back to expo and we queue untill superrrrr pekchek. people kept pushing then i felt so.. squeezy. so sad for leejie, because she small size, then she had to breath in people's carbon dioxide. ew. we seperated from val and cel. then while we queueing, suddenly we heard a OI from infront. we were thinking, isit val? LOL in the end, yeah its her.
session 10: grand finale. SUPER HIGH! praise and worship by chc band again! we sang "elevate Your name" twice. and during the very ending, we sang heaven also very high. too bad shihui leejie and i didnt sit with cg. abit sian at first.. but anyway, its over. we waited for the balloons!
