church service at jurong west's city harvest church

HELLO READERS! :D
today was kinda unexpected, i woke up early this morning to prepare my breakfast.
thought that i would be rushing by the time i wake up.
woke up at around 08:50am, washed up and got dressed, made my own breakfast!
2 eggs + 2 bread + 1 cup of milk = daphne's breakfast
used computer untill around 10am, when valerie came to straighten her hair.
valerie was sad that there are no sweets.

we went out at around 10:30am and went to meet aizhu(celeste).
while waiting for her to come, leejie called valerie and told her that she just woke up.
but she said that she would be able to reach sembawang at around 11am.
celeste came and made our way to sunplaza.
called up veron and she just woke up too, so asked her to rush.
daphne: valerie, see. now we have time to buy sweets.
went to sunplaza's NTUC to buy sweets, took a long time choosing sweets.

when we were queueing up to buy sweets..
valerie: each person give around 70 cents.
daphne: -gave exactly 70cents-
celeste: -gave a big $50 note-
valerie: omg, later i got robbed!

went up to sembawang mrt station, and waited for leejie to come.
she came at around 11:10am, then trained down to woodlands to meet veron.
while waiting for veron, we missed 2 trains.
she hor, asked her to run but she walked! and she had to top up her ez-link card.
the second train came and valerie boarded.
we wanted to board but the door closed and valerie was inside.

veron, celeste, leejie and i took the next train and trained down to jurong.
valerie called and asked us to go to the last door.
then when we were reaching jurong, she asked us to go to the first door from the last door.
i was like, kept saying "excuse me" and squeezing around.
and when we reached first door, valerie said should be last door -.-
so.. we were moving from end to end, for nothing.

met up with valerie and serene, then we trained down to boon lay.
and when we reached boon lay, its around 12 and service started!
celeste was very sad as she wanted to sing!
anyway, we kept running around to find taxi stands, and we finally found one. :)
we decided to join the queue and we were grouped into threes to sit taxi.
celeste, veron and i took the first taxi and reached city harvest church.
when we reached, i kept "woah"-ing cos the church is super big, pretty and nice!

so reached church, we had to take stairs to the auditorium. ):
so took the stairs down, and finally we reached but we could not sit with the rest of the cell group members.
we had to sit on stairs, how pathetic!
soon, valerie, leejie and serene joined us in sitting on the stairs.

service was from 12 to 2.
sitting on the stairs was super uncomfortable, backside super pain.
celeste did not felt any pain..
the guy beside me prayed and talked very loudly man.
veron and valerie kept turning back to look at him.
and guess what! i heard snoring so turned back and saw a man sleeping, BAD!!!
junhui after that came and asked if our friends wanted to go to the front.
shannen after that came too.
shannen: -points at valerie and veron- so these two your friends?
daphne: thats valerie-.-
shannen: -blur- orh!

service ended and shannen leaded us to the rest of the cell group members.
saw hazel and fiona and their cell group.
then we slowly went outside to intro the new friends we've brought!
i only knew some like, ruoyi (little miss sunshine) and shihui (batman)?
anyway, nice to meet you. :)

went to the coffeeshop nearby to have their famous ban-mian!
we waited for more than 1 hour for our ban-mian to come okay.
chatted, did personality tests, played murderer, drinks, while waiting for our ban-mian.
and we had our donuts! -yummy-
boys left for soccer, they cant wait!

after finally eating the ban-mian which is like made of gold, we headed to church!
leejie, serene and suzy left, then we went to church.
we went to lend church's toilet to get changed and also blew our water balloons.
valerie used the toilet for so long!!!
before entering the toilet..
valerie: when i first come to this toilet, i did not know how to use the tap. huiwen said she knew i wont know.
celeste: hahaha! i was about to try then you tell me how.
daphne: i sure know how!
yes, i knew how to use tap, how clever. :)
shannen was blowing the balloon when it AH-BOMB!



so headed to find the boys who were playing soccer.
the water balloons we blew were wasted because we did not play water captain ball in the end. ):
we played some childhood games at the playground.
celeste did not play, only valerie, shannen, huiwen, veron, janadez, ruoyi and shihui played.

first game we played is crocodile.
the catcher have to stay on the ground and the people have to stay on the playground.
the catcher have to try to catch the people by touching on their legs.

only tall people with long hands will be good crocodiles.
im a bad crocodile, shannen and veron are good crocodiles.
i cant even catch anyone!!! ):
shannen left after playing for a few rounds.
she had to go for family dinner at her grandma's house.

second game we played is a e i o u.
the catcher will have to stand infront and shout a e i o u.
when the catcher is shouting, the players have to try their best to reach the catcher.
after shouting a e i o u, the catcher have to turn back to look at us and we cannot move.
one of the players will have to tap on the catcher when the catcher was not looking.
when everyone is running back to the starting line, catcher have to catch someone to be the next catcher.

we played for a few rounds and it was not successful.
before anyone could tap on the catcher, someone will moves and a new catcher starts the game.
valerie laughed when we could not move!
then we had to be like statues while waiting for her to continue the game.

there's one time when valerie was the catcher, someone tapped her.
then i was super blur, then i stood there still. -.-!!!

third game we played is what time is it, mr wolf?
the wolf(catcher) will have to stand in front, and the players have to ask "what time is it, mr wolf?".
if the wolf reply "11", we had to take 11 steps.
we will have to ask the same question.
untill mr.wolf reply "dinner time", we had to run back to the starting line before we got caught by wolf!

i was the mr.wolf for like two times? cos i could not catch anyone.
they went back to the starting line in full speed.

third game we played is ice and water.
catcher have to catch any person and when the person was tapped, he is freezed untill someone save him.
the game goes on untill everyone's freezed.

joshua, garrick and another guy joined us in the game.
it was super tiring because we had to hide from the catcher and save the people in jail.
janadez! super duper scary, she saw you and she just anyhow touch you.. ):

after playing, the girls without janadez but plus khoonfai, shanghao and pinde, we going home already.
everyone took us except for pinde, his father came to fetch him.
in the bus, huiwen told us about her birthday chalet on 2 jan. :D
and the next day school reopens, we cant stayover..
reached boonlay mrt station, everyone except ruoyi and shihui did not took train.
the rest of us trained home. :)

TOMORROW'S ZOO OUTING! >:D
